Under cloudy skies at the magnificent Bowood Golf Course, the newly named Church House Chippers golf team  participated in the annual Navy Wings Charity Day.

Comprising some 76 golfers, the teams endured testing and high pressured conditions yet Church House took the lead on their first hole,  a position that was never relinquished!

The team was lead by Paul Zoltowski, Client Director at Church House Investment Management. The reward for the team was an impressive trophy, which was almost tragically dropped by somebody shortly after the above photo!

All invitees thoroughly enjoyed the day and were delighted to support this worthwhile cause. Navy Wings work to preserve Britain’s great naval aviation heritage.  They achieve this by bringing together flying historic naval aircraft, the people and their stories associated with flying from warships at sea, to inspire future generations and create a focus for remembrance.

Our team were unanimous in their enjoyment of the day and cited their most memorable moment as trying to hit approach shots over a lake, whilst watching the amazing Sea Fury fly overhead.
