Few cannot have been touched by the almost inconceivable scale of the human tragedy unfolding in Turkey and Syria following last week’s earthquake in that region.

As a private company, we are not able to react to every appeal for help but such is the plight of the victims of this event, it was felt that on behalf of all our stakeholders – clients, shareholders, and employees – we should dig as deep as we could to do something to help.

We have therefore made what, for us, is a significant donation to both the Disasters Emergency Committee appeal and Hands Up, a small and hands-on charity that operates on the ground in Syria run by a close connection of a client. Both organisations receive match funding from the Government, thus doubling our contribution.
